This painting is 4x6 on canvas board and comes unframed. It was painted based on a berry bush that was on a property I visited in the South of France on an art retreat.
Several of the artist named the "death berries" because we were unsure of if we could eat them or not. They looked beautiful but the looks obviously could be deceiving. This lead me to think of how my art work tends to be deceiving that it would make people think with its vibrant colors that I am always bubbly and warm.
I think we can find many things to relate to these death berries in life and the idiom of "looks can be deceiving"
