Jamaica River Jump Point Original Art

Inspired by a reference photo I took in Black River, Jamaica—at a well-known jumping spot where locals say if you jump in once a year, it keeps you young. The boats are pulled onto shore, layered like memory, lined up against the stillness of the river. This time I did jump in but looking back I will never do it again! The river is filled with aligators and all kinds of critters. I painted this to hold that in-between feeling—the pause before motion, the story in the landscape, the quiet magic of the place.
