Hibiscus 2 Original Painting

Original Hibiscus Mini Painting — 4" Round, Acrylic on Canvas

This is an original, hand painted hibiscus piece, 4 inches in diameter, acrylic on canvas. One of a kind, not a print.

Hibiscus grows all over the Caribbean, and in Jamaica its petals are dried and steeped into sorrel, the spiced drink that shows up every Christmas. It's not just a flower there, it's part of a seasonal ritual. That's part of why I keep coming back to it in my work, it's never just decoration to me, it's a piece of Caribbean memory I'm holding onto through paint.

Auction starts at $30. Or buy it now for $50 and the bidding stops right there, it's yours.
